Inperium Announces Its First Acquisition of 2018

Inperium Inc., which in 2015 became the nation's first not-for-profit human services organization to sponsor an employee stock ownership program, has entered into a definitive acquisition agreement with Alternative Consulting Enterprises, Inc ("ACE"), a Reading, PA based provider of licensed outpatient services including telepsychiatry. Terms of the acquisition agreement were not disclosed.

This acquisition was Inperium's first of 2018, after closing six change of control transactions in 2017.

ACE founder and chief executive Stephanie Hunsberger commented: "ACE has strived to offer consumers a full-service approach to care through its outpatient and telepsychiatry offerings. This transaction with Inperium will enable ACE to extend its services to a broader segment of consumers both clinically and geographically".

Inperium Chief Executive Ryan Smith commented regarding this transaction: "This unique transaction will enable Inperium to provide experienced licensed psychiatric services and related therapies to individuals in their homes or nearby satellite office locations using secure, federally approved telecommunication networks. Telepsychiatry offers expanded access to quality psychiatry clinicians that may not be readily available and provides these services in a more relaxed environment."
